Chair’s Welcome

Hello and welcome to the Pennine Alliance Learning Trust. It’s a real privilege to introduce you to our family of schools, where we share a simple but powerful aim: to continually to raise standards in our schools through the pursuit of collaboration and reciprocity.

At the Pennine Alliance Learning Trust, we are a community built on collaboration, mutual respect, and a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives. Our shared purpose is to provide excellent education while remaining rooted in the communities we serve, helping children and young people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed—not just academically, but in life.

We believe we’re stronger together. By bringing our schools into a supportive and collaborative network, we can share expertise, celebrate each other’s successes, and continuously improve. At the heart of our work is our commitment to opportunity, integrity, and equity—making sure every child has the right opportunities to grow and learn in a safe and inclusive environment.

None of this would be possible without the dedication and talent of our staff, who work tirelessly to make this vision a reality. We are equally grateful for the unwavering support of our local communities and governing bodies, who bring invaluable knowledge, care, and perspective to everything we do.

As Chair, I’m genuinely excited about the future of the Pennine Alliance Learning Trust. We have ambitious plans to grow and develop, and I know we’ll achieve great things together.
